Our people are the heart and soul of our organisation. We provide a friendly and engaging culture where everyone is respectful and supportive of each other.  Being a part of a smaller firm allows us to give our staff the personalised training and development they need to excel in their role.  Our senior team of lawyers support and mentor our young professionals establishing their legal career.

We also employ Business Support staff who are essential in providing our customer focused services. Our Business
Support staff are driven and enthusiastic people who are closely integrated into the overall structure of the firm.

Further Education

We invest heavily in continuing legal education and professional development. The firm funds a number of further educational programs including but not limited to:

      • The annual CLE requirements for all staff 
      • External seminars and conferences
      • Selected post graduate studies, including Masters degrees and specialist accreditations 
      • Professional training courses in specific legal disciplines relevant to the firm's business

In the case of law clerks who are still attending university whilst working, the firm provides:

      • Paid study leave for exams each semester
      • Paid leave for "on campus" course components of the College of Law program
      • Reimbursement of study fees for those staff members who commit to stay with the firm for a period of time after completion of the course

 

Practicing certificates for professional staff are funded by the firm and encourage many of our professional support staff with further education in law.  We reward all staff who work hard and exceed their performance expectations.
