Christine Pyliotis
Christine has attained a Master of Laws degree and has in excess of 12 years experience in commercial litigation. Christine is recognised for her high level of expertise in advocacy, litigation, research and legal drafting, negotiation and mediation, providing technical advice and building client relationships.
She joined Mason Black Lawyers in 2011 following an in-house role in an international corporation specialising in the provision of financial management solutions to major blue chip companies and Fortune 500 companies. Christine’s role involved the provision of expert legal advice to a director regarding contract provisions and the tender process for business development.
Christine began her career representing clients with a boutique litigation firm, where she developed her skills in commercial litigation, debt recovery, personal injury and trade practices.
In the last six years she has gained extensive experience in the management of cases in commercial litigation, fraud investigations, insolvency, debt recovery and litigation and assisted in managing the litigation division in her positions.
She has advised and has provided strategic advice to a wide array of clients ranging from company directors, organisations, business owners, professionals and individuals.
She has advised clients on various legal issues and has extensively represented clients in the Supreme Court, District Court, Federal Court, Federal Magistrates Court and Local Courts.
Christine has played a key role in a number of significant court proceedings, and is recognised for her success in achieving successful client outcomes through effective management of lengthy litigation.
Christine is a member of the Commercial litigation and Fraud team at Mason Black Lawyers where she is involved in complex and lengthy litigation.
She is a member of the Commercial Law Association of Australia Ltd.
